Title: Lifespan Why We Age and Why We Don’t Have To
Author: David A. Sinclair, PhD, with Matthew D. LaPlante
Category: Health & Longevity
Review:
For the past three-ish years I’ve become very interested (and dare I say obsessed) in the subject of health and longevity. That being the case, I have been immersing myself by reading everything I can get my hands on about how to extend my healthspan. In doing so, I came across a book that is a) entertaining to read and b) incredibly fascinating and educational. I’m no doctor so I very much appreciate when something like this is written in a way that even I can fathom. In other words, it’s written in an easy to read, conversational manner that doesn’t require a medical degree to understand.
Dr. Sinclair is one of the world’s leading authorities on genetics and longevity and in this book, he shares with us the facts about how he and a number of other scientists in labs around the world are quickly developing ways to slow down and yes, even reverse that dreadful disease that affects every last one of us – aging. So, if you are curious how you might live a happy, healthy and vibrant life to one-hundred years and beyond, “Lifespan Why We Age and Why We Don’t Have To” is a must read.
